Colleagues at our Kanthan Plant brought early festive cheer to the Taman Dovenby community by providing essential food items to those in need, aiding their preparations for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.

The handover ceremony was held at Surau Taman Dovenby, where 25 families received food supplies including rice, sugar, flour, snacks, and beverages for their festive preparations. Sekar A/L Kaliannan, Senior General Manager of Kanthan Plant, also handed out financial contributions to the representatives of Surau Taman Dovenby at the event. These funds will support the organisation of iftar programmes at the surau, directly benefiting around 80 members of the community.

The event was organised under the BUILDS Building Communities Together pillar, where we work alongside community members and various stakeholders to enrich lives and improve livelihoods. This initiative not only provided an avenue for employees to demonstrate our commitment to fostering collaboration and unity with the community but also gave us the opportunity to interact with and help members of the community in which we operate.
