Ending the Month of Aidilfitri with Joy: Celebrations at Langkawi and Perak Hanjoong Simen (PHS)
During the month of Aidilfitri, our plants continued the spirit of celebration by hosting a series of Hari Raya gatherings with our colleagues, stakeholders, and local authorities.
Celebrations at Langkawi
At our Langkawi Plant, we organised an internal Hari Raya celebration with our employees and stakeholders, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and togetherness within the team. It was a day filled with delicious food and familiar faces from both the plant and the wider community.
Celebrations at Perak Hanjoong Simen
Meanwhile, at Perak Hanjoong Simen Plant, the Hari Raya celebration brought together 150 employees and 50 invited guests - including representatives from the Kuala Kangsar District Office, Polis Diraja Malaysia Kuala Kangsar/Padang Rengas, Public Works Department (JKR) Kuala Kangsar, Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA), Majlis Pengurusan Komuniti Kampung, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad Ipoh and Padang Rengas, SOCSO and local village heads - as we celebrated the festive season in the spirit of unity and gratitude.
