In the spirit of Deepavali, our Kanthan Plant organised a hamper distribution event on Monday, 28 October, for the local community of Taman Dovenby, Sg. Siput. This initiative aimed not only to provide essential support for underprivileged families but also to strengthen the bond between YTL Cement and the local community.

The event saw the distribution of hampers to 30 families in need, each valued at RM100 and containing food essentials to support their Deepavali celebration. The hampers were thoughtfully provided to help ease the financial burden on these families, enabling them to fully embrace the joy of the festive season with peace of mind.

In addition to providing for the community, the initiative created an opportunity for YTL Cement employees to volunteer for a meaningful cause. Nine dedicated volunteers from the Kanthan Plant joined hands to organise and distribute the hampers, embodying YTL Cement’s commitment to community support and employee involvement. This Deepavali hamper donation event reflected YTL Cement’s enduring commitment to uplifting local communities and creating positive impacts beyond business.
