Annual contribution to nearby temples
As part of our ethos of co-existing harmoniously with the local community, we have been making donations to several temples near our operations on an annual basis.
Annual donation to local mosques for “Majlis Berbuka Puasa”
In line with our ongoing commitment to community development and investment, we have donated a total of RM28,700 to the Muslim communities of Padang Rengas for the holy month of Ramadhan.
Donation of 1,000 plants to the local community
More than 15 volunteers from Perak-Hanjoong Simen, the local community, as well as other government departments and agencies planted 1,000 trees in the neighbourhood area of Padang Rengas. In addition to tree planting, efforts to raise awareness on environmental conservation also include workshops held at Perak-Hanjoong Simen where more than 100 individuals were in attendance.
CNY Contributions to Senior Citizens
This hamper distribution initiative is part of our continued commitment to supporting long-lasting relationships with the local community where our operations are located. A total of 130 senior citizens and underprivileged families have benefitted from this effort.
