In the spirit of the upcoming festivities, our colleagues from Kanthan supported the local community of Rimba Panjang with a meaningful event on Tuesday, 14 January 2024. The occasion combined SJK (C) Rimba Panjang’s Graduation Day for Standard Six students with a Chinese New Year celebration, giving the celebration a festive touch.

To support the event, our Plant contributed RM3,000 and our colleagues in Kanthan offered hands-on assistance through four volunteers to help ensure the occasion ran smoothly. Their involvement reflects a commitment to supporting education and creating opportunities for community engagement.

Organised by SJK (C) Rimba Panjang in Perak, the event was officiated by YB Tuan Loh Sze Yee, ADUN Jalong and Perak’s Exco for Tourism, Industry, Investment, and Development Corridor. With close to 500 attendees comprising students, teachers, parents, and local residents, the celebration brought vibrancy and unity, while reflecting Kanthan’s ongoing dedication to supporting and engaging with the local community.
